hardware is out side the computer
software is in side the computer

1. software is programs and while hardware are parts

2. cpu

3. network interface card

4. says something about sound

5. phone has in and out and network card has in.

1) Hardware is a physical device, somthing that you can touch and or see. Software is the code and instructions that tell the computer how to operate.

2) Depending on the ram/memory of the computer.

3) A computer curcuit board or card that is installed in a computer so it can be connected to a network.

4) A sound card is built into the motherboard and you can identify it by the " Little Plugs" on it.

5) Modem uses phone lines (smaller plug) and a network card uses something other than the phone lines (usually a bigger plug).
