Post subject: From Oliver
Morton,

CMB is a form of electromagnetic radiation that fills the entire universe. It is invisible to the naked eye and is very cold, about 2.2275 C. CMB is used by astronomers to study history of stars. Apparently stars emit it and as the CMB is emitted at our equipment we can get a good picture of how big the universe is.
