Just home, what a great gig! The Tanyas sounded sooo fantastic, good set and as usual some very random yet amusing banter from the ladies, who were all looking really good. Opener Ana Egge was good (and very smiley!), though made the mistake of referring to us as "England", which always provokes pantomime booing from audiences! Throughout all performances the crowd were really quiet, which I always appreciate. Nothing worse than some drunken idiot yelling in your ear.

Had front row seats and managed to steal Frazey's set list. Interesting to note that the band obviously do refer to Ootischenia as "Opal" sometimes; I had always thought that was going to be Opal's Blues when reading early Hello Love tracklistings.

I had a great night, can't wait til they come back to Scotland again. Though having seen them up here twice in 8 months, I have a feeling it might be a while!

I am so jealous!

Mad Mad Mad Mad

Not only you have just had the most amazing Open Golf Championship down the coast at Carnoustie, you now have a visit by the Tanya's as well! All this set against the relative ease at which you can get fresh genuine Arbroath Smokies anytime you want to!!!

Shame that they (BGT) could not jump on the ferry to N. Ireland! Well, if they enjoyed Scotland, maybe they might come back and include. N.Ireland on their itinerary! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

If all else fails read the manual, sorry that should be tour dates page.
Looks like they are planning to hop on the ferry across the Irish Sea very soon, so get your skates on!

Brian
